Main Street of the City
The city's high street is Lenin Avenue. Nowadays we prefer to avoid frequent
mentions of the world proletariat leader's name. Many things changed after
the fall of the totalitarian regime in our country. Many towns got their old
names back, so did streets, but not in our city. (Does anyone know why?)
The high street crosses the city exactly from the West to the East and is
about 10 kilometres long.
